Membership
The American Association of Managed Care Nurses is a family of RNs, LPN/LVNs, NPs, MCSWs, LCSWs, and nursing students. It was founded in 1994 by a group of nurses who were dedicated to providing educational and networking opportunities for nurses working throughout the managed care industry. Our members range from clinical nurses aspiring to transition into managed care nursing to nurses who have been working within the industry for decades. We provide you with the education and resources you need to stay current through our home study program, biannual conferences, and webinars.

Mentorship program
Whether you are new to managed care or looking for direction and guidance in a certain area or transitioning roles, AAMCN has willing and available mentors who are more than ready to assist you. Or, if you feel that you have a diverse professional background and strong leadership skills, we would be honored to add you as a mentor! Please note that this program is only open to current AAMCN members.
We’ll be in touch within two weeks of you completing the form. When we receive requests for a mentor, we verify your AAMCN membership, and then we reach out to our mentors to see who might be available to take on a new mentee with the goals you have laid out in your application. Once we have a match, we will introduce you both via email. For requests to become a mentor, we will verify your eligibility, and then reach out to onboard you to the program.
